Donald Trump signed several executive orders on his first day as US President.

After taking office for the second term as US President, Donald Trump spoke about the Gaza war. The US President said that he is not confident about the Gaza ceasefire that started last Sunday.

Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on Monday. He took office for the second time by taking the oath.

After taking office, Trump went to the Oval Office of the White House yesterday and signed several executive orders. At that time, he spoke about the ceasefire that took effect in Gaza.

In response to a journalist’s question about the ceasefire in Gaza, Trump said, “This is not our war, this is their war. But I am not confident (about the ceasefire agreement).”

Trump also said that Hamas has become weak. Gaza has become a big ruin.

Speaking to reporters about Gaza, Trump said, “It’s in a wonderful place by the sea… You know, everything is good there.”

The bloody Gaza war has been going on for more than 15 months. After much effort, Hamas and Israel, the Palestinian independence movement, finally agreed to a three-phase ceasefire in Gaza, brokered by the United States, Egypt and Qatar. The ceasefire took effect on Sunday, the day before Trump took office. After taking office, Trump said that he was not confident about the ceasefire.

While signing the executive order in the Oval Office, Trump answered various questions from reporters. At that time, reporters asked him about his previous promise to stop the war in Ukraine.

In response, Trump said, “Good. It’s only been half a day. He has another half a day. He will look into it.”

Trump said during his election campaign that if he is elected president, he can stop the war in Ukraine within 24 hours.

Trump told reporters that he believes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to make a deal to end the conflict.

The Russia-Ukraine war has been going on for almost three years. Trump said that most people think that this war will end within a week. He thinks Zelensky has good intentions about ending the war.

Trump criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for not making a deal with Ukraine to end the war. He said that Putin should make a deal. He thinks that by not making a deal, he is destroying Russia.

After taking the oath, Trump addressed supporters gathered at the Capitol One Arena yesterday. The US president said, “You are going to see a lot of good things happen.”

Trump said, “We are going to stop some wars.”

Trump indicated that if he had been in power, the Ukraine and Gaza wars would not have happened.
